Original Creations

I enjoy creating unique works of art and crafts using a variety of media. Most recently, I've taken up the art of pyrography (woodburning) and make unique items as gifts or for trophies and club raffles/silent auctions.

I sketch the design on the wood, then use a woodburner tool to burn it into the wood. I use different tips on the tool to create a variety of textures. I color the finished design using woodstains and then apply several coats of clear satin finish. The pieces are ready to display with felt backing and sawtooth hangers
